Lead Generation Videos: The Wave Of The Future or Just A Fad?

Lead generation videos hosting on socials networks like youtube.com, tubemogul.com and others has become almost mandatory.

One of the principles of automated lead generation is leveraging your marketing efforts which is why having a video channel as part of your 24/7 marketing mix is so awesome!

I know you may be thinking that you may not be ready for video and that's ok. But in order for you to take full advantage of all the tools available online you will have to get over it.

Why Video?

Videos are great because they involve more than one of your senses at a time. You are watching and listening so you are connecting with your potential prospects on a deeper level.

Hey here you actual voice instead of just imagining how you may sound or look in real life.

As with other forms of automated lead generation, videos involve a high level of interaction with out time consumption or rejection.

One of the best parts is you are in your comfort zone; you house, car, the park, the closet... and they are in theirs!

Cool, huh?

Getting Started

I know I procrastinated making my first video because I could figure out what to talk about in my lead generation videos.

So what I did was look at how some other marketers and networkers were doing theirs then I duplicated ;-).

How To Choose A Topic

You will want to choose the topics for your videos the same way you choose topics for your other content: 'What's relevant and important to your target market?'

Keyword focus your content in your video title and the information in the description box.

You will also want to create a hyper link to a website you would like to direct your traffic. Make sure the link is visible on the first line of text in the description box.

Tips For Making Lead Generation Videos

I've included a few intro video's here so you can get you own creative juices flowing.

Here are a few tips I learned after making these videos:

  • Post your own video as a response to another popular video related to your target market.This way you will have a more targeted audience viewing your lead generation videos.
  • Make your videos short (less than 10 minutes) and keep it focused on your main topic in your headline. When your videos are short you get ti make your point before ADD kicks in.
